About Dr. McDole
Dr. Anna McDole is a 1996 graduate of
Washington State University's College of Veterinary Medicine.
She worked full time as an associate veterinarian in the Seattle area for 10 years.
In the fall of 2006, she started McDole Veterinary Services.
She provides veterinary care for a variety of companion animals,
including birds, cats, dogs, ferrets, rabbits, and other small mammals.
Dr. McDole is member of the
Association of Northwest Avian and Exotic Veterinarians (ANWAEV).
She was President of the ANWAEV from November 2004 - November 2007, and
was on the Board of Directors from November 2007 through November 2010.
She is a current member and was previously the Washington State Liaison for the
Association of Avian Veterinarians (AAV).
She has been on the AAV's social media committee since November, 2011.
She helps with posting to AAV's Facebook Page and Twitter account.
Dr. McDole is a member of the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians (AEMV),
American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA),
Washington State Veterinary Medical Association (WSVMA),
and the Veterinary Information Network (VIN).
Dr. McDole was a member of the
Puget Sound Veterinary Medical Association (PSVMA)
(previously Seattle-King County VMA)
until 2013, when she moved to Cupertino, CA.
Dr. McDole's family consists of a cat, a dog, a bird, and 2 other humans.
Her interests outside of veterinary medicine include
photography, travel, hiking, cool socks, and writing.
